This is an update to a previous message:
The Sr. Girls vs. Perryville makeup game will be on Wednesday, Jan. 29 @ Mayflower. The schedule will be JGJV, SG starting at 5:00 pm.
We initially tried for Monday, Jan. 27, but could not get officials for that date.
The postponed SG basketball game against Perryville will be made up on Monday, Jan. 27.
That night, games for 7G and JBJV were also added. The games will start at 4:00, in this order: 7G, JBJV, SG.
There is a change to the schedule for the basketball games scheduled tonight. The SG game will be rescheduled for a later date, so the schedule for the games tonight versus Perryville will be 7B, JG, SB. Communication about the SG makeup game will be shared when finalized.
Attention, Mayflower Families!
Last year, Arkansas began using a new student assessment called ATLAS. You can see and track your student's results. ATLAS Family Portal access codes will be sent to your email today. All Mayflower School District campuses and offices will be OPEN on Tuesday, January 14 at their regularly scheduled times. Bus routes will attempt to run as scheduled, with the exception of Red Oak Drive. The bus will NOT travel Red Oak Drive tomorrow morning.
Attention Mayflower Parents and Students: Basketball games this Thursday and Friday are canceled. They will be made up Monday, January 20, jg,jb,sg,sb starting at 4:00 pm at Mayflower. 7th grade and JV games will not be made up.

Based on the current projected forecast, winter weather is anticipated to begin in central Arkansas around noon tomorrow. In order to ensure the safety of our students and staff, Mayflower will not be open on Thursday, January 9. All schools and district offices will remain closed on Friday, January 10 due to the anticipated accumulation. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution for the safety of all District stakeholders. Thank you.

Also, on December 7, the Mayflower Christmas Parade will start at 11:00 AM. The parade will begin at Mayflower High School and end at Pearce Park.
