As the school year winds down, we need your help to ensure a safe and smooth transition! Please remember that all student medications must be picked up by a parent or guardian.

• Medications cannot be sent home with students.
• A parent or guardian must pick them up in person.
• Any remaining medications (including inhalers and EpiPens) will be disposed of after the deadline per district safety protocols.

Our counselors will never contact you by phone to request payment of any kind. We will never ask for payment over the phone or request sensitive financial information in this manner.

Entergy has notified us that a vehicle struck a power pole in Mayflower. As a result, they plan to temporarily shut off power to the city at approximately 4:00 p.m. to complete necessary repairs. The outage is expected to last about three hours.
We plan to complete the school day as scheduled. However, families should plan accordingly for a power outage beginning around 4:00 p.m.

Attention Mayflower Eagles: Due to inclement weather, Mayflower PreK, as well as all campuses and offices, will be closed on Monday, January 26. Good morning!
We are closely monitoring the weather and the forecast to ensure the safety of all students and staff. While most models predict that any winter weather will occur after school hours today, we’ll continue to monitor the situation to determine if a change to the school day is necessary. For now, we intend to maintain the normal daily schedule. However, if the weather requires an early release, we’ll inform you through social media, text, and phone calls. Please have an alternative plan in place just in case.

This afternoon, after school hours, a Mayflower School District bus was involved in an accident with a single vehicle while returning to the school. There were NO students on the bus at the time.
The bus driver was not injured and is doing well. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
We are thankful for the prompt response of emergency personnel and will share additional information as appropriate. Thank you for your continued support of our students and staff.
