I graduated from Conway High School in 1998. Following that I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 2003 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Next, I graduated from Centenary College in Shreveport, LA with a Masters of Arts in Teaching in 2010. I completed my English Language Learners certification at Louisiana State University Shreveport in 2014. Following that, I completed my M. Ed. in Educational Leadership at Arkansas State Univeristy in 2015.
I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology, a Masters of Arts in Teaching, English Language Learners certification, and a M Ed. in Educational Leadership.

This is my first year at Mayflower Elementary School, and I will be serving as the Assistant Principal.
I began my teaching career in 2008 as a substitute teacher for the Caddo Parish Public Schools in Shreveport, Louisiana. In 2010, I was hired as a fourth grade teacher at Creswell Elementary in Shreveport. I spent my entire teaching career in fourth grade teaching math and science for 4 years and all subjects for 2 years. I coached Creswell’s flag football team and the boys and girls basketball team as well. I served as a teacher leader for the school for four of my six years at Creswell.
I enjoy spending time with my family. My entire family is located in the Central Arkansas area. My mother is also an Assistant Principal. I have a little sister, Ashley. I enjoy spending time with my dogs. I have one dachshund and four chihuahuas.
I absolutely love sports. I love to play basketball, football, softball, and tennis. Also, I enjoy coaching sports. I am the world’s biggest Arkansas Razorback fan. I enjoy going to Razorback games or watching them on television.Besides sports, I enjoy watching movies and television and relaxing spending time with friends and family.
