2nd Grade Teacher
I graduated from Bryant High School in 1986 and The University of Central Arkansas in 1990 with a BSE in Early Childhood Education.
I have earned a BSE degree in Early Childhood Education.
Throughout my years as a teacher I have completed several area certificates including CGI 3 year completion certificate for mathmatics instruction Effective Literacy certificate, and STEM education workshop certificate.
After graduation from The University of Central Arkansas I spent five years working with CAPCA and the Head Start Program. After marriage I decided to remain home with my children for several years and worked a few odd jobs along the way. I began teaching second grade at Mayflower in August of 2005. I absolutely love second graders and appreciate the opportunity to work with them.
I have been married to Glen Wilson, a Mayflower High School graduate, for 20 years and we have 4 children. All four of our children have attended Mayflower Schools beginning in Kindergarten. Our girls are in college now, our oldest son is Senior at MHS, and our youngest son is a Sophomore at MHS. We love life in our town and we can be spotted out and about at church, Harps, and most definately at all Eagle football games as we cheer on our boys who play football and march in the Mighty Eagle Band!
I live a very full life as a mother wife and mother. I focus most of my free time on my family and all of the activities that keep us busy and make us a family. I also love to be actively involved in my church, bible studies, and going out with my friends. I love to sing in my car and annoy my children with all of the “throwback” oldies that I love so much!
